Walk and Talk – Supporting Mental Health at Work
We are proud to share news on a new monthly initiative that we have launched across our Group of businesses; Walk and Talk.
Introduced simply to get people talking by distancing themselves from the daily distractions of a busy office/construction site, and simply talk with colleagues in an open and encouraging environment.
Its effectiveness is in its simplicity. We encourage all team members to join us on a short walk in the morning, once a month, and talk through anything that they’re struggling with. We have found that this breaks down barriers and is a positive way to discuss Mental Health and the wellbeing of our teams.
The Walkie Talkie team is spearheading this initiative as part of their campaign to tackle the 3-peak challenge in 24 hours this July, represent women in construction and raising awareness for the charity “mind”💪
If you would like to support the Walkie Talkie team, the following gofundme account can take donations: https://gofund.me/7aeaa2f0

Barton were subcontracted to provide cut and muckaway, including the placement and trimming of type 1 sub-base.
Our expert team worked collaboratively with Groundforce to mitigate delays around the tight access to site and high volume of road wagons.
